The Weather is Cooler

FINALLY! The weather is cooler. I took Max for a walk this morning and I didn't even break a sweat! ha! Julia said she was "freezing" this morning at the bus stop. Not quite....but it was cooler. Tim is going to the football game tonight at Turpin with Mitch and his family. Mitch's brother, Taylor, plays for Turpin. Tim is excited. I just talked to Kaitlyn and she was grocery shopping at Meijer. Off to tackle the kitchen and all the clutter.

Hello

I think this blog idea is a very good one. I am very excited. Things are going well at Michigan State. I am almost done with my first week of classes. I think I will like them...some may be a bit challenging but I will just do my best. I am looking forward to the long weekend but I really have been enjoying every day and so that is good. I am visiting Kaitlyn on Saturday. I think I will leave at about 3 or 4 and then I will stay the night and leave Sunday. It will be fun.

Lessons from God this week: Don't try to be perfect. Only he is. Relax and do what you like. Test yourself and make sure your source of happiness/satisfaction is from him and not from other things.

I'm New At This

This is my first attempt at Blogging. Kaitlyn suggested that our family start a blog so we can keep in touch with each other, so this is what I'm doing! We'll see how it goes.

Kaitlyn left at 1pm for Univ of Michigan. It was really sad to see her leave, but inevitable since we knew this day was coming. Nick has been gone for almost 3 weeks now. We had an amazing summer as a family. God answered our prayers in a mighty way with that. Selling our house and finding this one. Just some great family times. This was our longest time together as a family of six.
