FI NULL LEEE

It seems as if life has a way of getting in the way of posting. School has started and Tim and Julia are liking their new teachers and routine. Tim started the year playing football, but now is out for the season since he has Mono! It's a real bummer as he was liking the team he was on. Below is him crashed on the couch after his first day back at school. He had quite a bit of homework to catch up on and is still working on getting it all done. The joys of middle school. Labor Day weekend we went to Michigan to celebrate Aunt Linda's birthday. I'm sorry I didn't get any photos of Linda or Tom. BUT, below is a photo of Kaitlyn and Nick. Nick had just arrived at the Tomala's house. Kait and Nick had not seen each other since mid May when Nick left for Germany. They were very happy to see each other again!
So happy together!
Julia recently got contacts and she is so happy!
And, Kaitlyn and Michael are now engaged!
They got engaged the day Kait returned from Haiti. Michael was here to surprise her. The wedding will be Thanksgiving weekend. We have been busy making all the plans. We don't have much time! We are very happy about this!
Please keep the country of Haiti and all it's people in your prayers.

I just noticed that you posted again. It took me a few minutes to figure out what fi null lee meant. Thought maybe it was German. :-)

Poor Tim. He looks so thin but I know he is such a healthy eater and is really into working out. I feel bad for him that he has to miss out on football since he loves it. Maybe next year.

Julia is adorable with her contacts. Really shows off her pretty eyes. Also love the picture of Kait and Nick. Your kids are all such good friends to each other.

We are so excited about Kaitlyn and Michael. Keep us posted on all the plans. What a fun Thanksgiving week-end we'll all have.

Yesterday Kylee was talking to me about the wedding and going to Michigan and she doesn't just want to stay 2 nights there, she wants to go for a whole week.

Kaitlyn, do you mind having your flower girls stay with you the week of your wedding?? ha ha

Wow! Such good news all around.

What about an apology for not calling when you came to Michigan?

Caitlin is a catch for any guy. Michael is lucky.

I LOVE the fact that the wedding will be soon. The "we're getting married in the spring of 2010" stuff is for the birds! It bespeaks planning an extravaganza that will clearly overshadow and take precedence over the sacred. (Or, so I proclaim, less than humbly, I guess.)

Congratulations!

Julia is so cute in her contacts! Sergei just got extended wear ones and they are working really, really well! (over $800 in lost glasses later).
