Karen just had to get up to go to the bathroom for the first time. With her catheter now out, she has to get up and walk to the bathroom (with the help of the nurses). Unfortunately, it did not go very well. She became very lightheaded and she nearly passed out. She was also in a lot of pain. If all that wasn't bad enough, by the time she got to the toilet, she didn't need to go anymore. All that for nothing!!
This made Karen very tired and she is now sleeping.

Karen and Mike--you might get this for a third time (which may be a charm)-----but here it goes--if it doesn't work, i plead ignorant---nice for Mike to be able type a message once and let us do the rest; i'm like mike, "waste not, want not"--as for you both-our thoughts and prayers are with you, as always--much love-dad and connie
