I just finished talking to the doctor who performed the surgery. He said the surgery went fantastic - it could not have gone better. It went very smoothly and was completed a couple of hours earlier than expected. Karen is doing fine. They are going to take her to recovery and wake her up. It will be about 3 hours before I get to see her. The doctor will keep me posted if any developments occur.
